Today, we want to wish our amazing community a safe, relaxing and Happy Labor Day! ❤️🤍💙

A special THANK YOU to our hardworking EACC team who shows up every day to care for, protect, comfort, clean, feed, walk, love and advocate for the animals who need us. 🐶🐱 Your dedication truly makes a difference!

We are also incredibly thankful for our adopters, fosters, volunteers, rescue partners, donors and supporters who continue to stand beside us. Every adoption, foster home, donation, share and helping hand makes a difference for the animals in our care. Together, we are saving lives! 🐾❤️

🏠 REMINDER: EACC is CLOSED today in observance of Labor Day.

❤️FINALLY SAFE ❤️
This sweetie has evaded capture in the area around 5th & Fountain Ave. for nearly a week! Thanks to the patience and kindness of a Good Samaritan, trust was gained and he is now SAFE at our shelter 🐶❤️

Someone has to be missing this baby! Please SHARE, SHARE, SHARE so we can get them back home where they belong. 🏡🐾

🐾 THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING RESCUE PAWTNERS! 🐾

We had some much-needed help this week from our wonderful rescue pawtners! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Warrick Humane Society and PAAWS No-Kill Animal Rescue for stepping up and pulling dogs from EACC to help us open up some desperately needed kennels. 🐶🏡

We have been inundated with lost dogs this week, and unfortunately, many of their owners are not coming to reclaim them. When those dogs aren’t reclaimed, they eventually become available for adoption—and our kennels fill up very quickly.

This is why our partnerships with local rescues are SO important. When they are able to pull dogs from us, they aren’t just helping that one dog—they’re creating an open kennel for the next lost or homeless dog who needs us. ❤️🐾

To Warrick Humane Society and PAAWS—thank you for answering the call, working alongside us, and helping us save lives. We truly couldn’t do this without our rescue PAWtners! 🐾❤️

And please—if your pet is missing, check with us and reclaim them as soon as possible. They are waiting for YOU to come take them home. 🏡🐶
