Calling all future robotics coaches!
🤖 Calling All Future Robotics Coaches! 🤖
The 4-H Tech Club has launched a FIRST LEGO League Robotics Team, and the response has been so incredible that we’re looking to start a second team! 🎉
To make this possible, we’re looking for a few more caring adults who are interested in serving as robotics coaches. No previous robotics experience is required—the current team leader and coach is happy to help train new coaches!
Here’s what you need to know:
🔹 Teams will include youth in 4th–8th grade, with high school students serving as mentors.
🔹 Practices will be held Sundays from 1–4 p.m. through the end of the year.
🔹 The FIRST LEGO League competition will take place in November.
🔹 An informational session/town hall for coaches will be held Thursday, August 20, at 6 p.m. at Castle High School. Register here.
🔹 Coaches will need to complete both the 4-H volunteer approval process and the FIRST LEGO League volunteer process.

Thank you for helping us grow opportunities for our 4-H youth!
