Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park E.K.W. State Park is the Perfect Picnic Spot just 6 miles east of Casper on the old Glenrock highway, 20/26.

We have over 40 picnic sites with several of them close to the water so you can keep an eye on the children while they splash and play.

The next section of "Wyoming Birds: For Kids" is up at EKW's Storybook Trail!

"Wyoming Birds: For Kids", by Pamela Moore, is perfect for children and adults to learn and connect with the birds that live in Wyoming. There are photographs by Tina Toth, illustrations by Lawrence Uhling, and rhymes written by Pamela Moore.

The storybook trail is located on the back loop trail near the bird blind.

You can pick up your own copy of "Wyoming Birds: For Kids" Wind City Books or Fort Caspar Museum.

We loved getting the rain, but it did create some washouts on the beach, including at the accessible beach mat.

The middle section of "Wyoming Birds: For Kids" is up at EKW's Storybook Trail!

"Wyoming Birds: For Kids", by Pamela Moore, is perfect for children and adults to learn and connect with the birds that live in Wyoming. There are photographs by Tina Toth, illustrations by Lawrence Uhling, and rhymes written by Pamela Moore.

The storybook trail is located on the back loop trail near the bird blind. For the next few weeks, you will explore the middle of the book. The park will unveil the last section of the book later in August.

You can pick up your own copy of "Wyoming Birds: For Kids" at Wind City Books or Fort Caspar Museum.
