Thank you to everyone who came to or donated to the Georgia McCrady Benefit Hockey Game. We raised $3,420 that will be given to Georgia.

There is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into these events weeks before game day ever arrives. We are thankful for the absolutely awesome support team we’re fortunate to have. The refs, announcer, DJ, scorekeeper, ticket and merchandise sales, all volunteer their time to come support our team and cause. Without them absolutely none of this would be possible.

Thank you to the captains and skaters from St. Louis Fire on Ice Hockey Team. They are nothing short of great. These players use their own vacation or shift trades to make the trip over. This team will always be special to me personally as they were who stood behind us when we were starting our organization from the ground up. We have spent countless hours on the phone, e-mails, and text with their captain who has never once turned down their help.

Lastly, thank you to the City Of Owensboro Edge Ice Center, IAFF Local 870/ Owensboro Professional Firefighters, Owensboro Fire Department, and Daviess County Fire Department for all their assistance.
