Monday - Friday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
* 15 minute break from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM

Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
* 15 minute break from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM

🥵 Additional 10-15 minute breaks may be added during extremely hot weather 🥵

🚫🗑️ Bulk Dumpster Bulletin 🗑️🚫

BREAKING NEWS: The bulk dumpster at the yard waste site has reached epic, overflowing, “I can’t take one more thing” levels of full.

In fact, it filled so fast it went from empty at 5pm to completely stuffed by 6pm — truly the Usain Bolt of dumpsters. 🏃‍♂️💨🗑️

So yes… the bulk dumpster will NOT be available on Saturday, May 30th.

Please be kind to our staff — they’ve been playing Whac‑A‑Mole with people tossing bulk into E‑waste and E‑waste into bulk (creative, but… no 😅).

We’ll update you as soon as the dumpster has finished its emotional recovery and is ready for more.

Beginning Tuesday, May 26th, Evansville Water and Light crews will be working on W. Church St to replace overhead lines with underground lines. We anticipate that this work will be completed by the end of June. Utility staff will reach out to you prior to doing this work along the back property lines.

Summer days are finally on the horizon and Evansville Aquatic Center is ready to start welcoming you all back!

☀️The activities and times below are only for next week (5/25-5/29).

☀️ Cash only, and exact change is required for lap swim/water walking

☀️ Lap swim is $3/person - no fee for those who have a season pass

☀️During the evening times staff will be available to help get you registered for passes and swim team

☀️Aqua Zumba is $10/person and you pay the instructor directly

☀️Summer heat means air conditioners and fans are in full swing. And as the humidity goes up, so does the amount of time a dehumidifier has to run in some homes. All of this extra use means our community utility costs to serve you go up too, especially between the hours of 3-8 p.m. on a hot day.
What are some other ways you could save?
☑️Replace old appliances with more efficient modes
☑️Track energy use and set alerts through MyAccount
☑️Upgrade to a smart thermometer to automatically adjust inside temperature

They will create a ticket for your concern and track it through completion.

Please note: Hard surface restoration has not yet been scheduled due to asphalt plants not being open at this time.
