🚲🎉 The 3rd Bike Rodeo was a great success! Despite the cooler temperatures, more than 20 kids came out for a day of fun, learning, and riding. Three bikes were given away through a drawing, and several kids received helmets and other great goodies.

The bike safety course was a huge hit, with many participants riding through it multiple times. Best of all, there were plenty of smiles from the kids, as well as the officers, firefighters, and volunteers who helped make the event possible.

A special thank you to Murdoch's, Walmart, and Kada's Promise for their generous donations and volunteer support. Your contributions helped make this event a memorable experience for the children and families in our community.

As a fun reminder from Bike Rodeo Day:
🚴 Wear your helmet—your brain is too important to use as a brake!
🚴 Keep your eyes on the road—texting and biking don't mix!
🚴 Follow traffic signs—they aren't just decorations!
🚴 Use hand signals—surprising drivers is best left for birthday parties!

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this wonderful community event. We can't wait for the next Bike Rodeo!

🐔 ADOPT ME BEFORE I CROSS ANOTHER ROAD 🐔

Everyone always asks, "Why did the chicken cross the road?"

Well... because I'm still looking for a place to roost!

I'm a beautiful Rhode Island Red with excellent bug-hunting skills, strong opinions about snacks, and a commitment to quality yard supervision. My dream home includes a cozy coop, some tasty treats, and humans who appreciate my stunning feathers.

Current status:
❌ Homeless
❌ No coop
❌ Tired of crossing roads

Desired amenities:
✅ Safe roost
✅ Daily snacks
✅ People who tell me I'm pretty

References available from every worm I've ever caught.

Can you help me retire from my road-crossing adventures and settle into a forever roost?

🏡 Adopt me today!
❤️ Serious inquiries only. Must love chickens.

Electric bicycles and electric motorcycles are becoming more popular.

Here are a few things to remember. To be considered an electric bicycle, it must have working pedals. If your electric bicycle does not have pedals, it is considered an electric motorcycle.

Electric Bicycle Regulations (W.S.31-5-707 & 31-1-101)

Definition: Electric bicycles must have fully operable pedals, a seat, and an electric motor of less than 750 watts (approximately 1 horsepower).

Classes:

Class 1: Pedal-assist only, the motor stops once the bike reaches 20 mph.

Class 2: Throttle-assisted, the motor ceases assistance once the bike reaches 20 mph.

Class 3: Pedal-assist only; the motor ceases assistance once the bike reaches 28 mph.
