‼️KNOW BEFORE YOU GO‼️

We are excited to welcome everyone back to Evansville Aquatic Center today. Here are just a few things you should know before you arrive:

☀️Swim test times are 12:00 - 12:30 PM, 2:00 - 2:30 PM, and 4:00 - 4:30 PM.
☀️We will have a short break from 4:00 - 4:15 PM (weekdays) and 3:00 - 3:15 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
☀️ All swimmers who are not potty trained MUST wear a swim diaper while in the water/on the pool deck
☀️ Swimmers must be at least 48 inches to ride on the blue and green water slides
☀️We do allow Coast Guard Approved life jackets, but they may not be used as a form of supervision
☀️We do NOT allow coolers, glass items, or alcohol

New crosswalk signs and flashing lights were installed at the corner of West Main and 1st Street. This was much needed as it’s not a four way stop. I can think of a couple other places this would be ideal.
Where would you like to see these installed next?

Council Meeting tonight!

While you probably won’t be needing it today, the new shade canopy is up at the splash pad! Public Works learned how to put it up today with help from the company, so we will be able to take it down in the fall and back up next spring by ourselves.

June 11th is for full operations. The pool is open for lap swimming and Zumba (started this week). Check the city page for those times as they will be posted weekly until the pool is open fully.

Monday - Friday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
* 15 minute break from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM

Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
* 15 minute break from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM

🥵 Additional 10-15 minute breaks may be added during extremely hot weather 🥵
