MOBILE DMV COMING TO EVANSTON THIS OCTOBER!

Join us on Friday, October 9, 2026, for a special event in collaboration with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Mobile Driver Services Unit!

Date: Friday, October 9th
Location: Robert Crown Community Center, 1801 Main Street, Evanston IL 60202
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Appointments are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
You may reserve your spot here: https://bit.ly/CrownDMV

Representatives from the Secretary of State’s office will be available to assist with:
•Renewing or correcting driver’s licenses
•Upgrading standard driver’s licenses to REAL ID-compliant licenses
•Obtaining or renewing Standard or REAL ID state identification cards
•Issuing free state ID cards for seniors age 65+
•Purchasing license plate stickers
Attendees will also have the opportunity to:
•Register as an organ/tissue donor
•Register to vote while applying for a driver’s license or ID

Whether swimmers are diving into Lake Michigan, farmers are cultivating their crops, or any Illinoisan is using a drinking fountain, water that’s free of toxins and contaminants is essential for life in our state.

I've passed a range of laws to advance this cause, including the Safe Drinking Water Act, which enhances enforcement tools for maintaining water purity standards, because no one should ever face the frustrations, obstacles, or even dangers of contaminated water.
