Since 2015, COPE has helped children across Evanston, Illinois by providing new school supplies and backpacks so they’re prepared to learn both at home and at school. We believe that every student, no matter their circumstances, should begin the school year with the essential supplies needed for academic success. Run entirely by volunteers, COPE is a grassroots, community-built, nonprofit that bel

ieves in the power of people. Without the support and funding of so many Evanston partners, PTAs, neighbors and friends, we wouldn’t be able to do the work that we do.
