Do you bristle every time you hear "thistle"?

Thistle have gotten a bad name as invasives for species like Canada Thistle, but there are 19 native thistles in Wyoming! Pollinators like the hummingbird moth, pictured here, looooove thistles.

Surprised not all thistles are invasive? Join us for our Malicious but Delicious Supper Club at Sinks Canyon on July 23rd to have more myths busted and try some tasty treats.

Come check out one of HawkWatch International's cool raptors at the Bear River Shelter at Bear River State Park! Today at 5:30pm! It is free and open to the public! We do ask that you do not bring any pets to the event for the safety of the bird and its handler. Hope to see you there!

Bear River State Park will be having a water main repaired in the park this week! Starting June 8th through June 10th the park restrooms and water hydrants will be closed or shut off. Restrooms are still available at the Visitor Center and porta-johns at shelter areas. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we get this issue fixed!
