💰 2027 City Budget Overview

The Evans City Council will continue its review of the proposed 2027 City Budget during its work session on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

City staff will provide Council with a high-level, citywide overview of the proposed operating and capital budget, including an update on changes since previous budget discussions and a closer look at the General Fund. This will be the fifth budget work session as staff works to finalize the recommended 2027 budget before it is considered for adoption.

The proposed General Fund includes a balanced operational budget, while the citywide budget anticipates approximately $62.2 million in revenue and $66.5 million in expenses. The difference includes planned investments in capital projects and infrastructure improvements.

Council will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback as the 2027 budget process moves toward adoption.
