Evans Police Arrest Individual Following Investigation into Alleged Sexual Exploitation of a Child

Evans, Colo. – On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, detectives with the Evans Police Department Investigations Unit arrested ANSON, Conrad, 39, of Evans Colorado, following an investigation into the alleged s*xual exploitation of a child.

The investigation originated from a cyber tip received through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, indicating potential involvement in the possession and distribution of suspected child s*xual abuse material. Detectives conducted a comprehensive investigation, which culminated in the arrest.

ANSON has been arrested on eleven (11) felony counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child under Colorado Revised Statutes § 18-6-403. A Weld County Court judge has set bond at $50,000 cash/surety. ANSON remains in custody at the Weld County Jail.

ANSON is currently a registered s*x offender within the City of Evans. Prior criminal convictions include offenses under Colorado law related to s*xual exploitation of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The Evans Police Department emphasizes that all criminal arrest are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

This investigation remains active and ongoing. Detectives continue to pursue all relevant leads to ensure the safety and protection of the community, particularly minors who may be at risk of exploitation.

Anyone with additional information related to this case is encouraged to contact Detective Ramirez at [email protected].

The Evans Police Department remains committed to proactively identifying and investigating crimes involving the exploitation of children, including monitoring online environments and working collaboratively with local, state, and federal partners.
