This summer, we decided to add a Rec Aide of the Month. Someone who exceeds expectations in their job function, as well as being a great leader within their department. We wanted to acknowledge our amazing staff and all the hard work that goes into Parks and Recreational Programs.

Our Rec Aide for the month of May 2026 is Victor John!
A little bit about Victor:
Victor is not only an exceptional employee, he has painted our new mural at our Carver Park Programs Office. He is always on time, respectful, kind and engaging with the children, staff, and park patrons. We generally see him spending quality time with the kids, while being an exceptional mentor and leader to them.
Keep up the good work Victor!

Whether your child is new to the game or looking to sharpen their skills, this camp is the perfect place to learn fundamentals, build confidence, make friends, and have fun on the court.

⚾ That’s a Wrap on an Incredible Season ⚾

What a season it’s been! From close games and big hits to laughs in the dugout and friendships built along the way, our adult softball teams made this season one to remember.

Thank you to every player, coach, volunteer, and supporter who helped make it such a success. We’re proud of the sportsmanship, teamwork, and community that filled the field all season long. 🥎

That’s a wrap on our Spring Volleyball Camp 🏐☀️

From learning new skills to making new friends, this season was filled with growth, teamwork, laughter, and so much fun. We loved watching each player build confidence on and off the court.

A huge thank you to all of our players, families, and coaches for making this camp such a success. We’re proud of every serve, every save, and every encouraging word shared along the way.
