Carrie: The Musical Virtual Auditions Closing Soon!
Auditions close August 21st at 11:59pm for Bay Street Players’ production of Carrie: The Musical!

Virtual auditions will run from July 26th-August 21st at 11:59PM

In-person auditions will be held on August 22nd & 23rd from 6:30PM-10:00PM at 109 N Bay Street, Eustis, FL, 32726

Non Paid, but actors will participate in a tip share

Stephen King’s Carrie: The Musical will run at the Historic State Theatre of Eustis from October 30th-November 15th, 2026. Bay Street Players encourages performers of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, body types, abilities, and experiences to audition. This specific production will take inspiration from Stephen King’s novel, Carrie.

Carrie White is a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she’s dominated by her loving but cruelly controlling mother. What none of them know is that Carrie’s just discovered she’s got a special power, and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it…Carrie: The Musical features a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (screenwriter of the classic film), music by Academy Award winner Michael Gore (Fame, Terms of Endearment), and lyrics by Academy Award winner Dean Pitchford (Fame, Footloose).
