What a wonderful evening at the 1st Annual Meaningful Milestones Academy Country Gala at The Barn at Southern Oaks!

I enjoyed spending time with Roxy Cruz, representing United Southern Bank, and sitting with members of the Golden Triangle Toastmasters. Chuck McMaster delivered a heartfelt and intentional message about the mission of Meaningful Milestones Academy and the important work being done for its students.

It was also especially meaningful to see several of my former students—including the owners of The Barn at Southern Oaks and DA Construction—supporting this wonderful school and giving back to our community.

I was so happy to attend and celebrate everyone helping Meaningful Milestones Academy make a difference. 🤠❤️💛

What a beautiful evening celebrating Eustis’s Hometown Celebration on Friday, July 3, at Ferran Park on beautiful Lake Eustis! 🇺🇸✨

There is something truly special about seeing our community come together — families, children, longtime residents, new residents, local businesses, volunteers, music, fireworks, and so much hometown pride.

I was grateful to have a space at the event and the opportunity to meet and talk with so many residents about my campaign for Eustis City Commission. I loved hearing what people care about, sharing signs, and being part of an evening that reminds us why Eustis is known as America’s Hometown.

Events like this do not just happen — they take planning, partnerships, city staff, volunteers, local organizations, vendors, performers, public safety, and residents who show up to celebrate together. That is what community looks like.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared encouragement, asked questions, picked up a sign, or simply enjoyed the evening with neighbors and friends. Special thank you to Starr Wingfield for some of the amazing photos.

I am proud to be part of this community, and I am committed to listening, learning, and leading — together.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting the **Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida summer camp program**, located at **LifePointe Church in Eustis**, where I was invited to speak to students as part of their career series.

The topic was **entrepreneurship**, and what a wonderful group they were! The students ranged in age from **6 to 18**, and they were attentive, engaged, and interested throughout the conversation.

We talked about how entrepreneurs solve problems, create opportunities, and build products and services people use every day. To make the topic relatable, I connected entrepreneurship to technology, apps, products, and services that they — and their families — use regularly. Once they saw how entrepreneurship shows up in everyday life, the conversation really came alive.

There are many important responsibilities that come with serving as a City Commissioner, including being good stewards of our city’s financial resources. But for me, our youth will always be one of the highest priorities. Investing in young people means investing in the future of Eustis.

To truly serve the citizens of Eustis, we must continue creating a thriving community that uses our city’s resources wisely while supporting families, businesses, schools, neighborhoods, and community organizations. Eustis is known as **America’s Hometown**, and it feels that way because of the people, partnerships, and community events that bring us together — many of them offered free of charge for families to enjoy.

Thank you to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, the staff, and LifePointe Church for creating a positive summer camp experience for our young people. Programs like this help students explore their strengths, imagine new possibilities, and see that their ideas can become part of their future.

Eustis is stronger when we invest in our youth.

🇺🇸 Let’s Talk Eustis at the Hometown Celebration! 🇺🇸

I’m excited to share that I’ll have my Marie Aliberti Campaign tent at the City of Eustis Hometown Celebration on July 3rd from 4–10 PM.

As our country celebrates its 250th Birthday Celebration, this is a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to come together, celebrate our freedom, and have real conversations about the future of Eustis.

This will also be another EustisTalks opportunity — a time to stop by, say hello, ask questions, share your thoughts, and talk about the issues that matter most to you.

At the campaign tent, you can:

🇺🇸 Have a conversation
🇺🇸 Sign up to volunteer
🇺🇸 Pick up a campaign sign
🇺🇸 Make a donation
🇺🇸 Learn more about upcoming EustisTalks events

My campaign is built on listening, learning, and leading together. In addition to community events like this, we will be hosting one EustisTalks coffee/conversation event each month and one evening EustisTalks gathering at a local Eustis venue.

I hope you’ll stop by during the Hometown Celebration. I would love to connect with you and hear what you love about Eustis — and what you believe we can do together to make it even stronger.

Eustis, let’s talk. Let’s listen. Let’s take action.

I want to thank Men Beyond Purpose, Eustis Community Alliance, and HERoes Inc. for bringing our community together for an important Community Town Hall Meeting focused on safety, concerns, solutions, and strengthening neighborhoods.

In light of recent gun violence in our community, this is the kind of conversation Eustis needs — one that allows residents to be heard, ideas to be shared, and practical steps to be discussed together.

As a proud member of the Eustis Community Alliance and a candidate for Eustis City Commission, I believe strong communities are built when neighbors, families, churches, organizations, businesses, and city leaders come together with purpose.

📍 Community Town Hall Meeting
🗓 Thursday, July 2, 2026
⏰ 6:30 PM
📌 Gethsemane Baptist Church
560 S. Bay Street, Eustis, FL 32726

This meeting is about listening, building stronger neighborhoods, supporting our youth and families, and creating real solutions.

Together, we can build a safer, stronger Eustis.
