Facebook Comment & Posting Policy
The NCUAQMD is using Facebook as supplemental outreach for improving air quality awareness. Postings to this page highlight activities of interest and importance to both the air quality community and the public, and include: District board meetings, public notice announcements, daily burn day status information, air quality alerts & advisories, wildfire information, grant announcements, and other notifications. The use of Hashtags are to present a cohesive stream of news and turn topics and phrases into clickable links. Many hashtags are used throughout social media, however, hashtags the District uses are only relevant to what the current post is referencing. Followers should not rely on this service as the primary means of receiving alerts/notifications related to air quality and should consider this page a limited public forum.
