Dried beans are the WIC-approved food of the month! Packed with protein, fiber, and essential nutrients, beans are a budget friendly superhero for your family's meals. Just one cup of dried beans becomes about three cups cooked!

💡 Plan Ahead for Easy Meals: Cook a big batch on your day off! Then, use your ready-to-go beans all week long. They're perfect for tacos, stews, salads, and more!

🎅✨ Introducing Santa’s Little Helpers! ✨🎅

Peek-a-Boo Pantry is spreading a little extra holiday magic across Greenwood County this year with our brand-new Santa’s Little Helpers Christmas Program!

This season, our community gets to be Santa’s Little Helpers! 🌟
Local parents and guardians can apply to have their children added to our wish list, and caring neighbors across Greenwood County can “adopt” a child — or even a whole family — to shop for. Together, we’ll make sure every child wakes up to the joy and wonder of Christmas morning. 🎁❤️

🎄 How it works:
There will be a basic information form to fill out to ensure families qualify. Once approved, parents or guardians will need to complete a Wish List Form for each child.

➡️ Both forms are available at the Greenwood County Health Department or can be filled out online through a link on the Peek-a-Boo Pantry – Greenwood County page.
Wish lists will be displayed on a Christmas tree at the Greenwood County Health Department throughout November and December. Stop by, choose a tag from the tree, and shop for your adopted child or family!

🎁 Gift Drop-Off:
Please have all gifts wrapped and delivered to the Health Department by December 17th.

🗓️ Registration ends December 1st!

👩‍🍳 Tots-N-Pots in Eureka was a success! 🥄

We had such a fun time starting off by coloring our chef hats while listening to a story. Then we got hands-on making yummy peanut butter oatmeal balls — and of course, enjoyed eating them while listening to another story! We wrapped up the day by picking out lots of fun coloring pages and recipe handouts to take home. 🎨📖🍪
