Interested in homeshare arrangements?

Learn about their benefits and challenges, formats, how to get started, etc. with examples of real situations from close to 5 years of local homesharing partnerships.

Connect with current and aspiring homesharers, whether they wish to rent a room or have a spare bedroom for rent in their home.

We start with a slideshow on the free housemate matching process offered by Northcoast Homeshare. This is meant to be an interactive, practical informational session.

Attend for any length of time. No need to RSVP.

August's Seeds for Change recipient is Northcoast Homeshare. Northcoast Homeshare, a program of Area 1 Agency on Aging, supports older adults who wish to stay living at home by connecting them safely with a compatible housemate, opening up options for more affordable housing.

When you round up at the register this August, you will be supporting a free and safe local housemate-matching program for all ages.

Join Tri-County Independent Living at Expo 2024 on August 9th, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Sequoia Conference Center. Explore a variety of technologies and services designed to support independent living. Connect with organizations focused on disability awareness and accessibility. Admission to Expo 2024 is free!
