🪧 Yard sign PSA 🪧 We are in the process of coordinating pick-ups; here are two things to keep in mind:

1) We will be picking up yard signs in the coming week. We have signs all over the county so it may take us some time, but if you still have a yard sign next week feel free to contact us with your address.

2) If you helped distribute yard signs and are able to help collect those, please let us know and we can coordinate a hand-off! It’s especially helpful to have a list of the addresses from where you pick up signs so we can use it for the next campaign.

3) If you’re feeling particularly inspired, or just don’t want to wait for us to swing by, you can drop-off your sign. Please message us for the address.

Thank you to everyone who is already assisting with yard sign pick-up! We appreciate you and your time beyond measure.

Also, after the election results that came out yesterday, we’re feeling like we have this one in the bag 🎉 The numbers are looking great!

Hi all - I’ll be posting about yard sign collection soon. The short of it: they need to come down by November 18th. If you’d like to keep your sign as a momento or stash it until next time (hopefully there will be a next time), please let me know. Otherwise we’ll plan on collecting them to store. Also, there will be another election results update posted later today. Stay tuned and please share this message with your friends who also have yard signs.

Thanks to everyone who worked the polls, voted, and came to the Election Night Party! See below for a photo of me giving my Election Night speech. Yesterday was a whirlwind, to say the least, so I was only able to join virtually for a few minutes. Things are looking good for the campaign based on last night’s results (50.63% to 49.37%), but we’ll know more next Friday. A key one: Expect long lines if you’ll be voting in-person and if you opt to go in-person, please bring your mail-in ballot to surrender to keep things going as quickly as possible.

If you do vote in-person, please thank your poll workers - they work crazy long hours and deserve all the kudos they can get!

The California Statewide General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 8, and the Humboldt County Office of Elections would like to remind Humboldt County residents that there is still time to avoid the lines and vote early.

To my neighbors, friends, mentors, colleagues, and family: Thank you for being the bedrock of our campaign for transparency, accessibility, efficiency, and a democracy that is steadfast and truly represents everyone who calls Humboldt County home.

I want to take a moment to applaud our campaign's core team members. You volunteered countless hours to fighting the good fight, bringing our campaign messaging to communities across Humboldt. You made political campaigning enjoyable. We're so close to the finish line and I couldn't ask for a better community to run this race with me.
