We offer sensory and play rooms, family-focused groups, and provider spaces that expand trauma-informed, child-centered care across our community.

Families don’t experience life one issue at a time.

A child’s behavior may connect to grief, sensory needs, instability or a difficult transition.

A parenting concern may exist alongside divorce, financial stress, disability, safety concerns, work changes or a lack of community support.

A woman may need emotional support while also making practical decisions that cannot wait.

Traditional services often address one piece at a time because each professional has an important and defined role. But families still need places where the connections between those pieces are understood.

Facing Giants is growing a multidisciplinary community of independent providers, educators, facilitators and advocates who serve families from different perspectives.

Each person maintains their own role and scope—while we help one another serve families differently.

Some of the most meaningful services begin with a simple observation:

“I keep seeing this need.”

“I wish families had somewhere to talk about this.”

“I have an idea, but I don’t know where it could live.”

Facing Giants was created, in part, to give those ideas room to be explored.

If you have a workshop, class, support group, educational series or community resource you would like to develop, we would love to hear what you are imagining and who you hope to serve.

You do not need to have every detail finished before beginning the conversation. We enjoy meeting new people, learning about their work and exploring whether the space can help them expand what they offer.

You can begin with one workshop that speaks to your current season.

Many talented providers have meaningful work they want to bring into the world.

What they may not have is the time, capital or capacity to build an entire space, professional network and community presence alone.

Facing Giants is creating room for clinicians, educators, coaches, advocates and other family-serving professionals to establish or expand their independent work within a larger, family-centered environment.

You maintain your own voice, role and practice while having access to a space designed for children, women and families—and the possibility of connection with providers thinking across different disciplines.

You can build independently without building in complete isolation.

This Thursday, we’re making room for women navigating divorce to stop carrying every document, question and decision only in their heads.

Preparing for Divorce is a practical working session where you can begin organizing what you know, identifying what still needs attention and clarifying the priorities affecting you and your children.

You do not need to arrive with everything figured out.

Bring your laptop or notebook and whatever information you currently have. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the decisions in front of you and the questions that may need to be addressed with the appropriate professionals.

You’re not alone—and you shouldn’t have to navigate everything by yourself.

Facing Giants is a warm, trauma-responsive community space in Eugene for children, women and families navigating adversity. We’re building accessible pathways to connection, care and possibility for people who are tired of being turned away, placed on hold or left to figure it out alone.

Through workshops, groups, private play and sensory spaces, respite, peer support, creative practice and more, we’re bringing people, providers and possibilities together.

No diagnosis, insurance or perfect plan required. Just a welcoming place to connect, explore support and discover your next step.

Navigating divorce can mean carrying information everywhere while still feeling unsure about what needs to be decided next.

This Thursday, women will gather at Facing Giants for a practical working session focused on bringing that information together.

You’ll begin organizing what you know, identifying your priorities and children’s needs, and clarifying the questions and decisions that may require attention from an attorney, financial professional or another qualified provider.

This is not a divorce-processing group. You don’t need to arrive organized, have legal representation or know exactly what you want.

Bring your laptop or notebook and the information you currently have. We’ll begin putting the pieces together so you can move forward with greater clarity and advocate more effectively for your circumstances.

A new week is coming—and there are two very different ways to find support at Facing Giants.

Our weekly 5NP Drop-In Clinic offers a quiet opportunity to pause, settle and receive support for stress, grief, anxiety, burnout or the weight of everyday life. No diagnosis, lengthy intake or explanation required. Sliding scale: $10–$30.

Preparing for Divorce: A Decision-Making Workshop for Women is a practical working session for women who need to organize what they know, clarify their priorities and prepare to advocate more effectively for themselves and their children. $75 | Limited to 8 women.

We’re looking for seven local providers who want to sublet space at Facing Giants while building or expanding their independent practice.

Our 6- and 12-month sublets provide access to unique, trauma-responsive spaces designed for children, families and settled nervous systems—without the full cost and responsibility of maintaining an office alone.

So if you...

1. Want to build a manageable caseload or expand your current services

2. Serve children, families or caregivers

3. Value trauma-responsive, child- and family-focused work

4. And want to grow alongside other mission-aligned providers...

This may be the space for you.

This opportunity isn’t limited to clinicians. We welcome educators, coaches, doulas, facilitators, specialists and other visionary professionals working to expand what’s available to children and families in the Eugene area.
