The League of Women Voters is an American civic organization that was founded in 1920 to help women take a larger role in public affairs after they won the right to vote. Research & distribute non-biased ballot measure information. Teach students & citizens about elections and citizen rights. Study issues, agreeing on positions for public policy change, then influence legislative processes with ed

ucation and advocacy: social policy, natural resources, and governance. Encourage informed and active government participation. The League DOES NOT support or oppose any candidate or political party.
