Last week, two of our amazing Academy students volunteered at Lane County Diaper Bank! With support from their Direct Support Professional, they repacked 2,350 diapers for families in need, helping 94 babies in our community.

Volunteer opportunities like this help our Academy students gain valuable work experience in a variety of environments, further their career development, and give back to the community at the same time.

Thank you to our students for your hard work, positive energy, and willingness to learn more. We are grateful for your commitment and the strides you are making in your employment journey!

And thank you to Lane County Diaper Bank for welcoming our students and providing this meaningful volunteer opportunity.

Music brings so much joy to our individuals! 🎶

A huge thank you to talented local artist Stormie Brown for spending lunch with our LEAP and Academy participants. For the past couple of years, Todd, our Talent and Job Coordinator, has helped connect local musicians with our programs, creating opportunities for clients to relax, connect, and enjoy calming live music together.

We’re so grateful for community members who share their time and talents with Pearl Buck Center! 💙
