Earth Day doesn't have to be recognized just one day a year, but it's a reminder that there are simple ways to help the environment. Here are a few ideas for you to celebrate the beauty of Mother Earth; pick up litter in a local park or your favorite open space, plant a tree or scatter native wildflower seeds to promote clean air and the survival of indigenous wildlife, start a compost bin in your garden, visit your local Lane County Farmers Market or learn about the Native lands you live on.

The Campbell Holiday Bazaar is two weeks away! We are still accepting donations for this event, through November 6th. Donation items we will accept, used or new; household items, small appliances, tools, keepsakes, whatnots and thingamajigs, handcrafted items, books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, plants, gift cards, baked goods, gift baskets or other items for our silent auction.
Please no clothing, shoes, LARGE items or vehicles. If you're not sure, give us a call!

It was a privilege to have Jeremey Kelley, with the Western Shasta Resource Conservation District, come share his extensive knowledge on beavers! We learned about beaver biology and behavior, as well as their effect on native plant and animal communities. This well-attended presentation shows that even in Duck territory, we can all be beaver believers!

We could not let summer come to an end without giving a big Campbell THANK YOU to this year’s neighborhood ice cream social sponsor, The Eugene Hotel Retirement!
We had fabulous music by Gary & Paula Hunt, yard games, Prince Pucklers ice cream and hundreds of smiling faces! It was a blast, and if you missed it, you’ll just have to wait until next year.

Don't miss Market Fest this weekend at one of our favorite hang outs, 5th Street Public Market, just down the road from Campbell Community Center! Our very own woodshop volunteers have been working diligently on some fabulous hand-crafted woodwork pieces, which will all be for sale at this event. All proceeds benefit our woodshop.
