Elder abuse is something we deal with every day. And it's not always obvious, like bruises or missing money.
Undue influence impacts vulnerable adults. What does it look like? It can be as simple as a family member speaking for someone in a financial or medical appointment, or constantly speaking ill of someone the vulnerable adult loves.
Per Dr. Bennett Blum, an expert in the field of geriatric psychology, "The perpetrators of undue influence misuse a position of trust or power to benefit themselves - or causes they support - at the expense of their victims."
