Food for Lane County (FFLC) is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank dedicated to reducing hunger by engaging our community to create access to food. We accomplish this by soliciting, collecting, rescuing, growing, preparing, and packaging food for distribution through a 150-member network of human service agencies and programs; through public awareness, education and community advocacy. FFLC i

s a United Way of Lane County agency, member of the Oregon Food Band Network, and a distribution partner of Feeding America, the nation's food bank. We serve the emergency food needs for a population base of 382,000 people living in the 4,722 square miles of Lane County. includes a warehouse, office, industrial kitchen, freezer and cooler space, and pickup and delivery trucks. Our West Broadway warehouse features a 3,500-square foot freezer, and is the food distribution hub for partner agencies. In 2019-20, we distributed 8.29 million pounds of food. Food for Lane County is an equal opportunity provider.

This event supports our programs that provide nutrition assistance for neighbors experiencing food insecurity throughout the year. Want a fun activity to entice your kiddos away from their screens on a Saturday? We've got you covered! Join us for family-friendly fun at the annual Youth Farm Fest on Saturday, September 12 from 10am to 2pm. Farm Fest is a celebration of all we’ve accomplished this season, our first at the new site!

-Open produce stand with produce tastings
-Kids arts and crafts (facing painting, seed mosaics, veggie critters!)
-Farm tours
-Live music from Brothers In Law Music and Corwin Bolt and the Wingnuts

This year, Deployed Logix raised nearly 45,000 meals for our community (over 23,000 pounds of food and $10,000 from the DLX Family Foundation). Their goal was to firmly place themselves in the top 5 annual food drives, and they did just that!

Between weekly prizes and incentives like avoiding the dunk tank at their annual company-wide summer party, DLX pulls out all the stops when it comes to hosting a food drive.

We're so grateful to DLX for all the ways they support Food for Lane County--they're even the Dinner Sponsor at our Empty Bowls Auction on October 3. Thank you, DLX!
