Food for Lane County (FFLC) is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank dedicated to reducing hunger by engaging our community to create access to food. We accomplish this by soliciting, collecting, rescuing, growing, preparing, and packaging food for distribution through a 150-member network of human service agencies and programs; through public awareness, education and community advocacy. s a United Way of Lane County agency, member of the Oregon Food Band Network, and a distribution partner of Feeding America, the nation's food bank. We serve the emergency food needs for a population base of 382,000 people living in the 4,722 square miles of Lane County. includes a warehouse, office, industrial kitchen, freezer and cooler space, and pickup and delivery trucks. Our West Broadway warehouse features a 3,500-square foot freezer, and is the food distribution hub for partner agencies. In 2019-20, we distributed 8.29 million pounds of food.
