🍽️ September is Hunger Action Month! The Junior League of Eugene is dedicated to fighting food insecurity and supporting families in need. By working together, we can help ensure that everyone in our community has access to nutritious meals and essential resources.

This year, food insecurity in Lane County is our focus, and Hunger Action Month feels like the right time to kick it off. We're already working with local partners to get real food to families who need it, and we're looking forward to making real progress on this one.

This year, Junior League of Eugene is partnering with three local groups tackling hunger in their own lane: Food For Lane County, Connected Lane County, and Every Child Lane County.

Sustainer Appreciation Post! ❤️

A big thank you to Jen Papé and Fran Curtis for hosting our annual Past President Meet & Greet with this year’s JLE Leadership Team!

This August tradition is a meaningful opportunity to connect past and present leadership as we set our goals for the year ahead—carrying forward JLE’s legacy, reputation, and commitment to our community.

We are fortunate to have an engaged group of Sustaining Members: women who have completed their years of active service but continue to give generously to our League through their time, expertise, mentorship, volunteerism, and financial support.

Whether they’re celebrating the year’s accomplishments at June Dinner, mentoring current Junior League leaders, donating items for various initiatives, or volunteering alongside our community partners, our Sustainers continue to show up for JLE in so many ways. ❤️

Junior League of Eugene is kicking off a new year, and we want you in the room for it.

Join us Thursday, August 27 from 5 to 6:30pm for a happy hour hosted by Jacquelyn Bratland and this year’s Board of Directors. Expect lite bites, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and a few updates on what’s coming this year.

New to JLE? This is the easiest way to find out what we actually do. We’re women in Eugene putting in real volunteer hours, running local programs, and building friendships that stick around long after the project wraps. If you’ve been curious, come see it firsthand. Bring a friend who might be too.
