Last night, we honored nine incredible graduates at our annual Native Student Graduation Ceremony.

This special celebration recognizes the accomplishments of our Native students and the families, cultures, and communities that have supported them along the way. Graduates received eagle feathers and special stoles to wear at graduation, while parents and loved ones shared words of pride and encouragement. The ceremony also included traditional drumming, and the weather was perfect. It was a wonderful reminder that every graduate has a community standing behind them, cheering them on.

Congratulations to our graduates! We are so proud of you. ✨

Some photos from our Grad Walk yesterday! 💙❤️

The Bethel Grad Walk is one of the most joyful and meaningful traditions of the year. Before graduation, seniors from Willamette and Kalapuya return to the schools where their journeys began, walking the halls one last time as younger students and former teachers cheer them on.

It's a celebration of how far they've come and all of the people who helped them get there. Congratulations, Class of 2026! We're so proud of you. We'll see Willamette students tonight for graduation!

Graduation information 🎓

- The Willamette High School graduation ceremony will be Friday, June 5th at 6:30 p.m. at Wolverine Stadium.

- The Kalapuya High School graduation ceremony will be Thursday, June 11th at 5:30 p.m. at Wolverine Stadium.

🎶 What a night.

On Monday night, the Bethel community gathered at the Hult Center for a celebration that was about much more than music—it was a celebration of Shasta Middle School and the generations of students and families who have called it home.

All current Shasta band members took the stage alongside approximately 70 Shasta Band alumni, filling the stage with musicians spanning generations of the school’s history. With a packed house cheering them on, the evening was a powerful reminder of the impact Shasta has had on our community.

As we prepare to close Shasta Middle School at the end of this school year, we also look ahead to an exciting new chapter. Beginning next year, Shasta students and longtime band director Mike Reetz will join Cascade Band and Choir Director Christina Boorman at our newly expanded Cascade campus, creating even more opportunities for middle school musicians to learn, perform, and grow.

Thank you to the students, alumni, families, staff members, and community supporters who helped make Monday night’s performance such a special celebration of Shasta’s legacy.

One week later, and we’re still feeling the love from our Shasta Celebration 💙 More than 500 community members came together to walk the halls, share memories, enjoy live music from our DJ and Shasta Jazz Band, and celebrate the incredible history of Shasta before it’s closed at the end of the school year. From the giant inflatable slide and glitter tattoos, to food, laughter, and reconnecting with friends old and new – it was a beautiful reminder of the community Shasta built over the years.

Thank you to everyone who came to honor the memories and make one more unforgettable day together!

Irving Elementary recently held its very first Art & Music Festival!🎨🎶

More than 400 students, families, and community members joined us for an evening filled with music, creativity, hands-on art activities, food, and fun — and the feedback was amazing!

From student performances to collaborative art projects and creative activity stations, it was so special to see our community making art and music together. A huge thank you to our staff, volunteers, performers, artists, and families who helped make this event such a huge success.

We already can’t wait for next year!
