The Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is identifying projects throughout Lane County for funding, as part of the development of Central Lane MPO's 2027-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The MPO received applications from the City of Eugene, the City of Springfield, Lane County, Lane Transit District, and the University of Oregon.

The MPO needs residents' feedback on which project applications on the list are most and least important to them. The public comment deadline is February 5, 2026.

Help us prepare for population growth! We need your public comments on the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) by November 30!

The RTP is the Eugene-Springfield-Coburg area's long-range transportation planning document that presents the region's goals for a safe, accessible, and efficient multimodal transportation system for everyone.

What is the purpose of the plan?
-Establish the region’s transportation priorities through 2049
-Help us prepare for population growth
-Guide investments in roads, transit, bike paths, and sidewalks
-Ensure that the area continues to benefit from federal transportation funding

1. Hear what the community has told us through outreach so far.
2. Learn about the RTP's goals.
3. Explore the region’s planned investments.
4. Discover how the transportation system is performing today and into the future.
5. Provide additional comments.
