Eufaula Carnegie Library Founded in 1904, Eufaula Carnegie Library is one of only two Carnegie libraries still operating as libraries in the state of Alabama.

Our collection contains more than 35,000 books; more than 1,500 videos; and more than 1,300 audio recordings.

What happens when your kids register for our Summer Reading Program starting June 1?!?

Well, they're going to get a swag bag, for one.... inside that is lots of little gifts and freebies. But here's the important part - they'll also get a reading log. We're doing things a little differently this year. We're tracking MINUTES instead of books. Every time your child reads for 20 minutes, they'll record it on this log. Each time they reach 400 minutes, they earn a free book and their name will go into a drawing for lots of fun prizes! Registration kicks off on June 1st! Come see us anytime that week! (Anytime in June, actually, but the sooner you register, the more minutes you can record!)
