Family and friends here is some updated information about the May 28. It's going to be GOING ON ALL WEEKEND. We will allow vendors to set up on Thursday and Friday. Music Playing and some food on those nights of MEET AND GREET. ON SATURDAY, MAY 28th IT WILL BE GOING ON.. That''s the day known as FREEDOM DAY for this Community. ALL IS WELCOME, HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.

CALLING ALL FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE DESCENDANT Of THE Battle Community . This include those that once LIVED and grew up here and had FAMILY that once lived here. This is one of the OLDEST communities here in Alabama. Once a a thriving and family orientated community. This community rose up from SLAVERY and moved forward into the present day. Allowing Black families to prosper and give there family something to be PROUD OF. A lot of the families moved north for better jobs and raised there children elsewhere, but the HEADS of those families ALWAYS RETURNED HOME TO the community to celebrate with FAMILY and LOVE ONES. We are trying to BRING BATTLE BACK {BBB} asking all families to donate funds and participate with us for a weekend of food, fun, and good old SPIRITUAL music. Everything is family free. Come on and join us, YOUR FAMILY. All Information is forth coming. Please be patient with us. Thank you Family.
