Got A TON done last night at the City Commission meeting. This included the final adoption of the 2027 Annual Budget will includes a property tax rate reduction of a little more than a half-mill, bringing the proposed mill levy to its lowest level since 2016.

Affordability is top of mind for staff and elected officials and the 2027 budget is the next step in making Eudora a welcoming, achievable place to call home for all demographics. More work to do, but its a good next step!

Heads up! 🌿 The final City of Eudora Brush Dump of the year is Saturday, October 3, from 8 a.m. to noon. The program will resume in March 2027.

Mark your calendars for Monday, September 14, as the City Commission has noticed two public hearings related to the review and final adoption of the proposed 2027 Annual Budget.

The final proposed budget includes a mill levy decrease of slightly more than a half-mill in an effort to minimize cost of living impacts to Eudora residents. Here’s a quick Friday Photo Dump for you all! A lot going on in town but hopefully all to the good. Here we have pictures of progress on the Paschal’s Landing and 10 Union Lofts apartment projects along 10th St., site clearing work at Pilla Park related to our grant-funded park redevelopment, and Conex boxes that will be used for the new Eudora KS Fire Department training location near the City brush dump.
