Alright, so slight change of plans. As it happens, not all of your museum volunteers are always on the same page! In order to accommodate a separate event, our 2026 Grand Opening will be held one week earlier than originally scheduled.

So now for real, make your calendars! And join us Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st from 1 to 4 pm for free root beer floats and museum tours!

We are very fortunate to have Q custom Designs in our community. Congratulations on 14 years!

Next week I celebrate my 14th year as the owner of Q Custom Designs. It has been the greatest job I could have ever imagined. I have the pleasure of working with Coaches, teachers and students to bring all thing ELC to the public along with any printing or embroidery needs to businesses in the area. I have been strongly encouraged by community members to make my donations to the school more public as I usually just keep things under the radar because that is how I was raised. If you have a downtown business in community then you support that community in return. So after doing some book work I am happy to announce that in 14 years of business I have donated close to $100,000 back to ELC Schools. Please remember you have many choices of who do business with but supporting the people that support your kids and community is the biggest way to say thank you. I hope to continue to support in all the years to come!! Thank you to all my amazing customers.

In the wake of the recent tragedy impacting members of the Iowa Lakes Community College baseball team, our community has shown an extraordinary outpouring of compassion and support. Individuals, businesses, organizations, and community partners from across the region and beyond have reached out, asking how they can help. This collective encouragement and support reflect the profound care our communities have for these student-athletes and their families.

To facilitate donations, we have established a secure and transparent process through the Emmet County Community Foundation. Our aim is to ensure contributions are directed appropriately, providing meaningful support to the affected players and their families as they navigate the financial and personal challenges ahead.

During this difficult time, Estherville and the surrounding communities stand united in support of the Iowa Lakes baseball team, their families, and the entire Iowa Lakes Community College community. If you wish to contribute, please follow this link to donate:https://www.cfneia.org/donations/iowa-lakes-baseball-family-relief-fund/. Your generosity and kindness are profoundly appreciated.
