Take your chances with a book! We’ve created an in-library display of books wrapped in paper so you can choose a “date” based only on each one’s genre and synopsis. Almost like a real blind date but without awkward silences or conversation. If you don’t like it, return it to the library with no hurt feelings.

We are launching 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, a self-paced early literacy program that encourages parents to read aloud with their little ones.
Families can sign up now through the library website http://www.cityofestacada.org/.../1000-books-before.... Follow the links to register in Beanstack, enroll your child in “1000 Books Before Kindergarten!” and start logging your books. You can also keep track on paper.
Stop by the library during our new walk-in hours Monday and Wednesday 12:00-3:00 p.m. and Friday 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. to pick up a registration folder with additional program information, coloring sheets and more. Ask for Ms. Deborah!
