BCMCF is operated by the County of Bay in conjunction with the Department of Human Services of the State of Michigan. We provide complete skilled nursing care, including rehabilitation services, Alzheimer's and hospice care. Our facility is located in Hampton Township just adjacent to the Bay County Golf Course. Bay County Medical Care Facility offers 24-hour skilled nursing care for those individ
uals who are chronically ill or are recovering from an illness or injury. We offer both short and long term care depending on the needs of the resident. We have a Assessment Team composed of nursing, dietary, social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, restorative and activity staff who all work together to create an individualized plan of care to meet each individual residents specific needs. It is our mission to create a home like atmosphere for our residents. Residents have the choice of many activities that are offered daily thru our Activity Department. We plan many community outings such as; shopping, dining, bowling, bingo and casino trips. We also offer many internal activities to choose from such as: religion services, bingo, cards, bake club, crafts, live entertainment, and we also have an annual car show and fun fair that residents participate in. There is also a large library of books and videos located in our Activity Dept. as well as free Wi-Fi for our residents and guests. Activities are planned daily for each resident based on their individual likes and dislikes. Residents have their own Resident Council meetings with facility staff so that we can all work together to create the best possible atmosphere and give the best possible care.
