The Pinewood Manor Neighborhood (off River Rd / Rt.117) in Essex, VT, will be hosting its annual giant yard sale on June 7th 8am-2pm. Rain or shine!

Over 26 households are participating! Maps and a list of items sold at each house can be picked up at both neighborhood entrances or you can scan a QR code on our signs for a map.

Sale items include:
Household items, free piles, perennial plants, snow cones and other treats, craft materials, yarn, computers, electronics, tools, leaf shredder, spinning wheel, baby & infant gear & clothes, dishes, toys, books, clothes (adult & kid), fabric, games, dining set, furniture, sports items, American Girl accessories, DVD's, CD's, bikes, lamps, jewelry, purses, teen items, appliances, power washer, snowblower, porch swings, nerf guns, motorcycles, office supplies, book cases, blankets, generator, bike racks, propagated plant starts and more!

UPDATE 4/5
Stormwater infrastructure repair work on Heatherbush Road will start tomorrow April 6th. The project entails replacing 2 existing deteriorated stormwater pipes and installing a new catch basin. ECI will be completing the work and it is estimated to take about two weeks to complete. Town Public Works will provide an update when the work has been completed and the road is opened back up again.

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Feel free to call the Town Public Works Department at 878-1344 with any questions.

UPDATE 4/1 @ 12:00 pm
Heatherbush Road will remain closed until further notice due to a failed stormwater pipe. The Town Public Works Department is working closely with ECI to repair the pipe, but it is a complicated repair so it will take a few weeks to complete the work. Work is tentatively scheduled to start April 11th. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation. Public Works will provide an update as work is completed. Please contact the Public Works Department with any questions at 878-1344.

Heatherbush Road will be closed for approximately 300 feet up from the intersection with Valleyview due to a storm drain collapse. Road crews have blocked off the area and are working to correct the issue as quickly as possible.

Hello neighbors!

THANK YOU to those who came out and helped with our Pinewood Manor Green Up Day event! It was great! We had about 25 neighbors, adults & children, who all contributed to our efforts. We accomplished: Raking and hauling leaves at and around the Skyline Islands, preparing the rock/flower gardens, cutting limbs and hauling down the ravine, cleaning the pool gully area, and extensive River Road garbage collecting. Our thanks as well to those of you who help keep our lovely neighborhood cleaned up any day. Happy Spring!
