Little free libraries have been sprouting all over the world—including Vermont. Some are no bigger than a bird house. Others are as large as a phone booth.

Did you know that February 14th is International Book Giving Day? Give one to your sweetie, or a child you know, or donate a new or gently used book to one of Essex's Little Free Libraries: At the Town of Essex's Office at 81 Main Street, at the EJ train/bus station, at Maplehurst Florist, in the reading garden at Summit Street School playground, or Logwood Circle. You may find a great book to take with you, too!

What's so special about February 14th?
