The Essex CJC is so thankful for the support of one of our community partners, Cents Thrift Shop! We were once again a recipient of their generous annual donations from proceeds from shoppers and donators. The community of Essex is fortunate to have such an amazing resource in our midst. The ripple effects of their generosity are part of what makes Essex such a strong community! Thank you Cents Thrift Shop!!!

Our first Restorative Storytime is happening this coming Tuesday, August 19th at 9am. We will be reading Wally and Freya by Lindsey Pointer.

The book shares Wally's struggle to connect with fellow forest animals and how empathy and curiosity can shift the dynamic. After reading, we'll follow the story's lead and use art and popsicle stick puppets to tell our own stories.

Children of all ages are welcome. Registration can be found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdCo3Cmcu0NHlVVAjGOLDkY6V03Ttpe08QifRz0V9uyk4nfRg/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=105687227428205032004
