This weekend five members of Essex Rescue ran in the Vermont City Marathon relay! Essex Rescue ran for the charity .vt along with other EMS agencies across Vermont. We are so proud of our runners for being the team that raised the most money! Thank you to everyone that donated to such an amazing cause. We hope everyone had a great memorial day weekend!

Today we honor those who have sacrificed their lives to protect our communities. Thank you to all of our police officers for everything you do!

The Essex Police Department would like to join the nation in observing Peace Officers Memorial Day.

May we never forget the sacrifice of those who stood between us and danger to keep our communities safe.

Five of our Essex Rescue members are participating in the Vermont City Marathon as a relay team this May 24th! Essex Rescue along with other local fire and rescue services are running for the charity Never Give Up Ever. The charity provides funding for families of children undergoing long term hospital stays. It assists with covering living expenses such as food and housing for these families. Never Give Up Ever has helped so many during difficult times. On NBC5, one of our Essex rescue members and charity board member, Olivia, was featured in a news story below about the up coming relay!
