We apologize for the inconvenience our Alcalde Transfer Station will be closed tomorrow Thursday May 28, 2026 for being at capacity. We are working diligently to transport waste and open Friday May 29 at 8am. This will not affect our event for Saturday, on the contrary we are getting prepared. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

🚨 NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS 🚨
Our Alcalde Transfer Station will be CLOSED starting at 10:00 AM tomorrow May 21, 2026 while our scale is being repaired.
We are hoping to reopen after lunch at 2:00 PM, but reopening will depend on the progress of the repairs and when the scale company completes the work.
Please follow this post and check our website for additional updates. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

We are excited to announce our community cleanup day scheduled Saturday May 30, 2026!

Please be advised that the free disposal is for NCSWA customers only! Hazardous waste will be accepted from anyone.

Please bring an NCSWA bill for Free Dumping to show you're a customer.

No trailers over 8ft accepted.

No refrigerators/freezers.

No more than 3 tires per customer.

The station will be open that Saturday from 8:00am-1:00pm only for the cleanup. Hazardous Waste will be accepted since 9:00am

Please be advised all NCSWA will be CLOSED Friday, April 3, 2026 in Observance of Good Friday. Our Transfer Stations and Collection Centers will be back open Saturday April 4, 2026.

Please be advised that the Cordova Collection Center will be closed tomorrow January 31, 2026 due to staffing shortages.
We apologize for the inconvenience! All of our other station will be open normal hours. Cordova Collection Center will be back open Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 8:00am

We apologize for the inconvenience the Alcalde Transfer Station will be closed today, January 22, 2026 for repairs on the bay doors. This unfortunately stops traffic from entering the dumping area. Due to an equipment failure outside of NCSWA’s network, we are currently experiencing technical difficulties, including an outage of our phone system any software. The issue is being actively investigated and addressed. We appreciate your patience as we work toward a resolution and will provide updates as they become available. Thank you.

We are now accepting payments for the year. You may come in and visit our office, pay online on our website, or over the phone.
Please be aware if you do pay for the year and have been billed these amounts, deadline for year-pay payments is January 31, 2026. Our software unfortunately cannot process yearly statements. Services to and from will be written for one month but it is for the calendar year of 2026.
Punch cards are available for pick up. Punch cards for this next year will expire on December 12, 2026.
