Thank you to all who came out in support of our endorsed candidate for the Congressional 48th race, Marni von Wilpert for Congress! We had some great momentum as thousands of doors were knocked yesterday across the district for this crucial race. The LAST day to vote is Tuesday, June 2nd. If you haven't voted yet, please get your ballot in and be sure to vote for the most qualified candidate to flip this seat blue, Marni Von Wilpert!

We are down to the final few days of voting! This will be the last weekend to Get Out The Vote for this Primary Election. Many have still not turned in their ballots. 😬 The Escondido Democratic Club will be hosting a GOTV event for our endorsed candidate, Marni von Wilpert for Congress this Saturday at 11:00am. Please join along with our endorsed candidates for Mayor, Elias Velazquez for Mayor, and City Council candidate, Anthony James DiMartino.

🇺🇸 The U.S. House District 48 Seat is crucial to our goal of flipping the House blue. Californian voters made their voices heard loud and clear for Prop 50. This specific seat was one that was redistricted as a result of that election. We must have the most qualified candidate facing the Republican this November, and that candidate is Marni von Wilpert!

Yesterday, the EDC had the honor of presenting a wreath at the Memorial Day ceremony at Oak HIll Cemetery to pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

It was a truly moving and beautiful ceremony — a solemn reminder of the courage and dedication of those we have lost, and the profound debt of gratitude we owe them. We are so proud to have played a small part in honoring their memory.

Thank you to Escondido DAV Chapter 70, VFW Post 1513, and Oak HIll Cemetery for hosting this beautiful community event.

Thanks to all who stopped by our booth at the Escondido Street Fair on Sunday! The weather was great, and we received such great feedback from our visitors. Several Escondido residents joined our Club on the spot, and dozens signed up for our free newsletter! There was a buzz in the air, as several of our endorsed candidates also had booths at the Fair. Escondido voters are fed up with the current Administration and with elected officials in Escondido who do not stand with our communities. Our excellent endorsed candidates have stepped up to the plate, and are ready to serve you. If you would like to be a part of our mission to flip seats blue, please consider joining our club!

A special thank you to Mara Elliott, your candidate for California State Senate for joining our booth. And the North County San Diego Young Democrats for helping to hand out our flyers. This election is an “all hands on deck” kind of moment, and we love these collaborations.

Before heading to our monthly EDC meeting, please stop by this important canvassing event for our endorsed candidate Marni von Wilpert! Marni’s events have received tons of support from labor unions, college democrats, and local voters. 💪

This Saturday SD4GVP will be ready to knock doors for the candidate they feel aligns with their core mission. SD4GVP is near and dear to Marni’s heart as preventing gun violence is one of her key causes.

If you’re unable to canvass at that moment, still stop by at 9am to pick up literature, your turf, and a yard sign! Snacks and coffee will be provided. 🍩 ☕️ 😋 Remember that ballots are sitting on everyone’s kitchen table right now. There is no time to waste! See you Saturday at 9AM. 🗳️
