Congratulations to Cornerstone’s Executive Director, Judy Beckett, for being named a “Community Hero” by Supervisor Joel Anderson. This award recognizes Judy for her passion, dedication, and commitment to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders who are in a fight for their lives.

Judy will never tell anyone the extent of the work she does, and the great personal sacrifices she has made, to fulfill Cornerstone’s mission, & her personal mission, to save and restore lives of service members battling PTSD and mental health trauma. She has created a safe haven and healing ground that has changed, and saved, hundreds of lives.

She’ll probably kill us for posting this because she hates the spotlight on her but we will have to disagree about that…sorry, Jude, not sorry! Lol. This is so well-deserved and we are so proud of who you are, your heart, and your extraordinary compassion…we are beyond fortunate to be part of your team and your life. Congratulations, Judy! The RLS Foundation has been an ardent supporter of Cornerstone since our inception in 2007. They have invested in the lives of thousands of active-duty service member, veterans, first responders, and children with special needs with great passion, great generosity, and great vision. And they're at it again and have totally outdone themselves with this AHHH-MAZING gift! Not only is it super sexy, but it will enable us to create access to the horses to individuals with ambulation challenges, it will help with ranch work, es**rt our clients to the barn for our one-day retreats and three-day retreats, one-on-one therapy sessions, as well as making Cornerstone look like the Belle of the Ball in local parades, and so much more. “Thank You” doesn’t begin to express our gratitude. Thank you RLS Foundation for investing again and again in our mission to provide whole life recovery for all who sacrifice and serve. We are beyond grateful.❤️❤️❤️

Our precious resident unicorn, CeCe, woke up super sick this morning. We found her lying down, not wanting to get up and when she tried, she ended up in a sitting position. We had to help get her up on all four feet. The amazing Dr. McClellan came to her rescue (and ours). Poor baby. The prognosis is good and we will keep everyone posted on her recovery. The vet bill will be expensive, especially being an emergency call early Sunday morning. A heinous crime was perpetrated at Cornerstone this afternoon. The bay horse known as Laddie, Lad, Ladman, and Bubba, was apprehended at the scene of the crime by investigators. He claimed to have an alibi and no knowledge of who was responsible for this shocking crime. There are five witnesses who have positively ID’d Laddie as the perp, but he continues to deny all allegations. Investigators es**rted Laddie back to his palatial stall without incident. He continues to cooperate, but investigators are highly suspicious. The investigation is ongoing at this time
