Michigan DNR Pocket Park The U.P. Pocket Park is a state park that has fishing, archery, and pellet gun ranges for all ages to participate in free of cost.

Saturday and Sunday
Open Fishing: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Open Archery: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Open Pellet Gun: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Originally opened during the UP State Fair in August 1999, our site spans one acre of land. Visitors can explore our historic Fire Tower, scenic Waterfall, and educational classroom, or enjoy fishing in our pond with over 1,000 bluegills. Additionally, we offer an archery range and a pellet gun range. All activities are free and open to the public.
