Continuing a legacy of giving back. 🌟

Every December, Air Force crews fly thousands of miles across the western Pacific to deliver more than 77,000 pounds of essential goods and Christmas surprises to 42,000 islanders on 58 remote islands. Clothing, food, medical supplies, fishing gear and plenty of toys are packed into bundles donated by local and international partners.

It’s a mission that lifts communities and strengthens aircrews, giving them vital real-world training while providing aid where it’s needed most.

Ever wonder what Air Force Special Operations really entails?

Here’s your quick mission brief 👇

❓What is Exercise Adamant Serpent?
It’s a multinational training exercise where U.S. and NATO Special Operations teams test their limits in the Arctic.

❓What’s the Air Force Special Operations Wing’s role?
AFSOW Airmen bring the airpower, from CV-22 Ospreys to MC-130 Commandos, inserting and recovering special operations teams, resupplying ground forces and proving that we can operate anywhere, anytime.

❓Why does it matter?
This training sharpens global readiness, builds trust with our allies and ensures our Airmen are ready to take on missions that reach far beyond home base.
