Dickinson County is conducting a Housing Needs Assessment, and we want to hear from you!

Whether you're a longtime resident, renter, homeowner, landlord, business owner, local official, or someone considering a move to the area, your input will help identify housing needs and priorities across the county.

We are so grateful to be a part of making these sorts of meaningful connections for our local skilled trades workforce and training! Congratulations to Ironworkers Local 8! This investment is projected to support the creation of 110 jobs and retain 180 existing jobs!

The money will help buy industrial cranes, forklifts, a plasma table, an ironworker machine, outdoor training modules and a concrete finisher training package.

FY27 MACC Grant Applications are now open!

The Michigan Arts & Culture Council’s grant system is officially accepting applications for the FY27 grant cycle for projects occurring January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027.

If you’re a Michigan-based arts and culture nonprofit organization, municipality, tribal entity, preK-12 schools, college/university, or non-arts and culture nonprofit organization, now is the time to apply!

Funding opportunities, depending on applicant type, include operational support, project support, facilities/equipment improvements, arts education, professional development, and field trips.

Deadline to apply: October 22, 2026 at 5pm ET.

MDOT will be hosting public webinars to discuss and collect input on the state's long-range transportation plan on Sept 16 at 6pm and Sept 17 at 11am. Both webinars will contain the same information and will provide the opportunity to discuss comments.
