UPDATE – ROAD NOW OPEN

The bridge on CR-432, AKA E. Maple Ridge 37th Road, is now open to traffic.

Please note that detour signs are still in place but will be removed by the end of the week.

*Public Notice*

Subject: Upcoming Bridge Construction and Road Closure Notice on CR-432 East of Rock.
The existing bridge on CR-432 over the Rapid River in Maple Ridge Township Delta County, Michigan, was constructed in 1939. The bridge is currently load-restricted and does not meet current design standards.
Beginning May 18, 2026, crews will begin removing and replacing the E. Maple 37th Road (CR-432) Bridge over the Rapid River. The Project is scheduled for final completion on October 16, 2026.
During construction, the bridge will be closed to all traffic. The proposed detour route is shown on the attached map and is approximately 30 miles in length.
We apologize for any inconvenience this project may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this necessary improvement.

🚧 Reminder: Bridge Closed During Construction 🚧

We’d like to remind everyone that the bridge on CR 432 in Rock is still currently under construction and closed to all traffic while work is being completed.

Please respect the work site. The bridge is not passable and the barricades are in place for everyone’s safety, including the construction crews and the traveling public.

ROAD CLOSURE – 8/10/26-8/13/26
W.5 Rd (J-31) and 26.6 Rd (I-40) will be closed at different locations next week Monday, August 10th thru Thursday, August 13th for culvert replacements. The road will be closed at the culvert location only, so the road is still accessible from each end, up until the culvert replacement. Only one culvert location will be worked on at a time (Marked in red on map)

ROAD CLOSURE - 7/28/26 - BARK RIVER TOWNSHIP
CO RD 410 (17th Rd) Will be closed on Tuesday, July 28th for a culvert replacement. The road will be closed at the culvert location only, which is marked with a red X on the attached map. The road is still accessible from each end, up until the culvert replacement.

Board Meeting Notice

Please be advised that the Delta County Road Commission's regularly scheduled Board Meeting has been rescheduled.

New Meeting Date: Wednesday, July 15
Time: 2:00 PM

The meeting will be held at the Delta County Road Commission office.

🚧 Chip sealing operations will begin Monday, July 6, and continue for up to two weeks on various roads throughout Delta County.

Please watch for road crews, follow all posted signs, and use caution when traveling through work zones. We appreciate your patience as we work to maintain and improve our road system.

CO RD 444 (V.25 Rd) Will be closed on Monday, June 15th through Tuesday, June 16th for a culvert replacement. The road will be closed at the culvert location only, which is marked with a red X on the attached map. The road is still accessible from each end, up until the culvert replacement.

PUBLIC NOTICE – ROAD CLOSURE FOR CULVERT REPLACEMENT

Days River 24.5 Road (County Road 446)

Road Closure Dates:
Monday, June 8 through Tuesday, June 9

The closure is at the culvert location, which is located ½ mile in on the west end (M-35 side) of Days River 24.5 Road, just before Soderman's Meat Processing. The road will remain accessible to the public from both ends.
Please plan accordingly and allow extra travel time. We appreciate the public's patience and cooperation while this work is being completed.
