The Livermore

Today we wanna educate you about one of our favorite varieties of walnuts, the Livermore. Though this particular variety is created by researchers there is no genetic modification going on here. That rich red color is backed by a deliciously creamy and less bitter than the average walnut taste.

Harvest update

During this year’s harvest so we’ve have received 30 million pounds of walnuts, shelling 150,000 lbs a day 7 days a week throughout the season we create roughly 75,00 lbs of shell everyday that our dairy partners help up remove and repurpose on their ranches!

Back in 2010 we were hauling and storing all of our walnuts in these silos. Fast forward to today we’ve moved just a few miles up the road into a 140,000 square foot plant in the heart of the Central Valley.
