During the Irish Celebration parade we understand that parking is limited and it is sometimes an inconvenience.

The Erin Police Department has posted the signs on Main Street in order to have a safe and controlled environment for the parade.

We ask that there be no vehicles parked on the street Saturday morning. If so, we will make one attempt to have you move it and then it will be towed. This is not something we want to do but is needed to make room for parade floats.

Damaging wind, hail & tornadoes are forecast for parts of the southern and central U.S. this week. Be prepared in case of a tornado warning:

- Go to a small interior room like a closet, basement, or storm cellar.
- Stay away from windows, large open rooms, doors, or outside walls.

Sirens are a great outdoor alert, but you need alerts that work indoors, too. Turn on push notifications for your favorite weather app and keep a weather radio handy. Practice getting to your safe place now so you're ready to act instantly when the time comes. ⚠️
