Today's meal for the Friendship Table is Beef Taco Salad. We we serve each Thursday from 11:45 to 1:00 pm. The meal is provided as part of Southeast Kansas Area Ageny on Aging and a $3 donation is requested. Just give me a call at 620-244-4123 by Tuesday, at 1 pm, to reserve your lunch. The Erie Senior Center has an exercise program each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 am in the Center. This program is totally free (we invite you to donate with “your heart”) and is presented by Jocelyn Ford. Jocelyn leads with chair exercises as well as drumming practice and yoga. The Erie Senior Center is proud to announce that the Friendship Table hot meals will be expanding beginning September 14, 2026 to Monday through Thursday. We serve from 11:45 to 1:00 pm. Just give me a call at 620-244-4123, on the day before to reserve your lunch. The meal is provided as part of Southeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging and a $3 donation is requested. A menu for the month will be available later on.

Good Tuesday morning!
After watching the local news, it occurred to me that this ongoing heat could be causing harm to our community. The Erie Senior Center is open this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 pm to 4 pm. If you need a break and crave a cool place to relax, come by the Center at 16 West 3rd and enjoy the cool.
