We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

Erie County is hosting a memorial ceremony to honor and remember the lives lost and the courage, sacrifice and unity that followed the events of September 11, 2001.

Join us behind the Erie Maritime Museum. The ceremony will begin promptly at 8:46 a.m., the moment the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

The ceremony is open to the public. Shuttle service will be available from the parking area.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

If you cannot make the ceremony this morning, share with us about where and when you heard about the events that morning on September 11.
