Thank you to everyone who participated in our Basic Home Maintenance class yesterday evening!! Attendees learned home maintenance from roof to foundation; practiced key skills like caulking and spackling; and took home tool kits and caulking supplies to put their knowledge to work.

~From Blight to Bright!~

We at the ECLB are excited to share our latest demolition project, in Wesleyville yesterday!

This deteriorating house has been a real concern to neighbors for years. Now that it's gone, the lot will be reset so a future owner can breathe new life into the property.

At the Erie County Land Bank, we strive to rejuvenate our communities by returning vacant, abandoned, and deteriorated properties to productive use. We're happy to have been able to help Wesleyville with this project!

Our Executive Director, Jeremy Bloeser, had the opportunity to speak at the Housing Authority of the City of Erie’s second annual Legislative Breakfast, hosted by HANDS (Housing and Neighborhood Development Service) at the historic Boston Store.

This event brought together local housing organizations as well as elected officials to highlight the work of these groups in their ongoing mission to strengthen Erie’s communities.
