Last week, we co-hosted an informative and inspiring event for the Erie area.

The Erie County Land Bank, Erie Land Bank, and Erie Arts and Culture welcomed Michael Freeman from the Genesee County Land Bank in Flint, Michigan for a screening of his documentary highlighting the powerful impact land banks can have on rebuilding neighborhoods and restoring communities.

We are grateful for the collaborating partners and so many of the interested elected officials and community members who came out our event.

The Genessee County Land Bank documentary provides the inspiration for our work going forward, and the access to an experienced land bank leader is invaluable. We look forward to implementing the skills, knowledge, and programs identified to better our local communities.

The Erie County Land Bank, Erie Arts and Culture, and the Erie Land Bank bring you a one-night-only screening of the Emmy-winning documentary The Land Bank: 20 Years From Crisis to Opportunity!

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4th at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center's Big Green Screen Theater for a Land Banking 101 presentation, the film screening, and a Q&A discussion panel featuring:
